The ground remembers what fell on it.
Real-time strategy · Ore, armour, attrition
In 2148 the sky opened over the Kesh Basin and dropped a mineral that should not exist. It grew down into the bedrock in bright arterial lines and men started calling it vein. Burn a kilo and a city runs for a week. Bleed a field dry and nothing grows there again.
Two powers are left standing on top of it. Neither will leave.
Corporate remnant. Fewer soldiers, better ones. Rail guns, hover armour, gunships and a targeting network that shoots before you finish turning.
Everyone the Coalition left in the dust. Welded plate, cheap crews, rocket batteries and more of everything than you can afford to kill.
Mixed ground. Room to manoeuvre, cover where you need it.

Level every enemy structure. Or make it so expensive for them to keep a Refinery alive that they can no longer field anything.
Every structure draws power. Go into deficit and build speed, radar and base defence all fall over. Enemy artillery knows this.
A vein field is finite. It regrows slowly near the seams. If you sit still, you lose.
VEINFALL is a mouse-and-keyboard strategy game. It wants at least 820 × 520 to fit the battlefield, the sidebar and the minimap at once.
On a tablet, turn it landscape. On a phone, come back on a laptop.
